School in Haiti

This year, School will restart next October 3, with a program of the Haitian president wish aims to help 146 000 children from the age of 6 to 10 years old; who have never go to school. This initiative is a blessing for the education system in Haiti. Our school will reopen next week too even if we are not in the president program yet.

Last year we helped 130 children with in our school, this year again, we hope to help more.
Our needs this year is to pay the teachers and to have a feeding program in the school. Last year we could feed the children sometimes, but this year we really would like to do that every day.



Sometimes they come to school without getting breackfast with no lunch. Can you help the feeding Propram?

Education in Haiti

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep him unspotted from the world.” –James 1:27

Education in Haiti is very expensive because there are not enough public schools for the population, the private schools represent 80 % and the government has only 20 % of the schools in Haiti for the whole Haitian population, as a matter of fact the private schools becomes very expensive, so that situation keep many children from having opportunity to go to school because the parents don’t have possibility to pay the fee for the tuition.

With references to the description above, almost every church in Haiti has a school to assist the church members. In fact On September 2006 I founded a school in order to help the families in my church who cannot afford the private school for their children. And for some other families who live in the community. For the last school year 2009-2010 I helped more than 100 children to have a good education.

My faith for the next academic school year 2010-2011

I believe that I will help at least

200 children in my school to have good education, because more families are in need after the earthquake. Some of them lost their Job and their little business, so things are getting hard for many parents.

I believe that God will provide money to buy uniforms and shoes for those 200 kids.

I believe God for a Feeding program for the kid in order that they can find some thing to eat at school. Just one meal a day.

I believe God will provide money to pay the teachers.

I believe that God will provide books, note books, pens, pencil and other materials for those kids.

I believe that every reader of my blog join with me in faith by calling these things in prayer for pastor Wilnord Ministry in order that those needs will be met according to the word of God. <> Phil.4:19

Gospel Christian Church of Haiti

After graduated from Bible school at Victory Bible Institute (VBI) in Port au Prince on May 1999, I got married to Veronique Volcy on December of the same year. Now we have 6 kids: Michael(11), Rebecca(10), Medgine(9), Roobens(6). Angela(4), And Esther who was born 27 days after the devastation earthquake on January 12, 2010.

In 2004, I was in Dominican Republic, I got the revelation to found a church, and I also met a great man of God, Pastor Lester E. Guest while I was helping a Haitian church as an associate pastor. Pastor Guest helped me to understand the call of God in my life. And he taught me something that helps me a lot . I understood it and I decided to come back to Haiti. On May 2005 I founded Gospel Christian Church of Haiti. I started the church with my family, after a few months there were already more than 20 people in the church, now we have a church of about 60 people. One year later after the foundation of the church, I founded a school in the church in order to help the people in my church and some families who live in the area. Now my school helps more than 100 children to have a good education.

Brother Georges Villaçon, a member of Gospel Christian Church of Haiti, is talking about what God has done for him after the earthquake.

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord. Bless be the name of the Lord for my wife and for three of my children who were in the house when the earthquake came on January 12, The house was completely broken, I was out so when I arrived home I did think that I had no children and wife anymore, because I did not see them and the house was fallen down, but Jesus was there to save them for me. The next day early in the morning, Pastor Wilnord came to see me, He found me standing on the rubble of the house, and he asked me where your wife and your children are? I answered very loud, they are saved Alleluia. I moved to a camp where a lot of people who victim by the earthquake in our town staying, the situation was not good in the camp so I asked how much it would cost to take out all the debris and the rubbles in order to clean the place where the house was, they asked me 1200.00 to clean it for me, I talked to pastor Wilnord about it, he said and he prayed with me for the money to come, a few week after pastor Wilnord called to tell that God answers our prayer, he said he just has contact with an organization which will help me to take out the debris, I was very happy, and an other week later pastor Wilnord told me that a team will come to help me, so last week brothers and sisters in Christ from Adventures in Mission came to help me. They rent a Truck to take out all the rubbles, now the place is clean, I can build shelter to live with my family, I don’t spend even a penny for that, it totally free, God blessed me; I praise his name for that. I thank Pastor Wilnord for contacting this organization for me; I also thank AIM and all the brothers in Christ who came from USA to help me.
